PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told how FANTASTIC she was live but WOW WOW WOW. I think my feelings could be summed up the following day when a male friend said to me "I would marry her, leave my wife for her" and I said "I would marry her she was that HOT"..........in everyway this lady has it. I had a great night with the girls, it took me hours to unwind and stop singing her songs in my head before I slept that night. Look at the photo she sings while falling, swinging and spinning . A total pocket-rocket who put on a fantastic 2 hour show.

  • Darren went out with 10 mates from high school, crawled home at 4am. I did not sleep well and had some horrible dreams that I had food poisoning.
  • Max and I went to Sophie's princess/pirate party.....yummy food and a gorgeous cake!!!!
  • Darren cooked us another nice roast for the 3rd week in a row....love ya honey.SOOO much planned to do on my 4 day long weekend but not much at all done except washing and ironing.

can you believe it is June already ????

where did all the time go??

On Sunday Max saw this trailer on Sunrise and he was sad I could not "make it happen again" so here you go little buddy. WOW in a year I am going to be very excited about this movie, i have become a toy story nut like my son..........but lets not wish the next 12 months away shall we!!!! lol Oh and he did not notice his FAV Weezy was not there, his voice died in a car crash.....I hope they bring Weezy back or how will I EVER get Max a Weezy toy as it is the only one he does not own in triplicate.

I will be catching up on all my posts when this 4 day working week is over as I have Friday off for 2 weeks YAY, WHAT a cool long weekend this week!!!!!!

May 25 to 31

Education day. BBQs. Teaching. Rain. Max had his preschool photos. We went to Dr Fulcher for my first check-up.

It was tooooo cold and rainy, brrrrrrr. A sleep deprived night on Thursday as Max had fevers. I was going to call in sick but I had to go in as I needed to open up as bossman was away sick.....after a long drive to get school keys, I arrived at school flustered and ready for a nap, nothing I had planned got done and I drove some children home that missed the bus ...happy to get away as the day had not been easy.

Max was at home with my mum all day and was feeling very sick. After a trip to the doctor we found out he had an infection in each ear and a throat infection. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday inside. We had a nice roast pork dinner with Karen, Mark and the kids and then it was off to mark my schools Maths programs, I went to bed way tooo late for a Sunday night.

things you say

Yes you talk a lot and make me laugh LOTS

Last week you were devastated when the pedal fell off your bike and you asked me to fix it, I said I couldn't and you would have to wait for daddy. You persisted and did it. I was proud of you and told you that you were clever. You nodded and screamed
"Yes I did it, I am a tool like daddy!!!! YAY"

Yesterday you told me "I am going to crack you like an egg and eat you up"

You always ask about Christmas and last week said
"Mum get all the Christmas stuff down and make it Christmas again. I like Christmas, no I LOVE it and I want it NOW".

May 11-17

NAPLAN testing kept us busy at school and it was a HARD test...even I had to sit down and THINK about some year 5 maths questions as they were designed to sort the super bright from the bright!!!!

Then the wonderful Thursday rolled around and I had my ultrasound, a quick shop and then met up with a friend from swimming at TIC TOCKS. Ashleigh and Max had the place to themselves and had a ball (sadly I forgot my camera). It was wonderful to see them play for hours as they only know each from swimming lessons, its great when kids just click.

On SATURDAY 5 staff members from my school headed down to Wollongong Uni to a Mathematics conference...May 16 was a very popular day, we had sooooo many invites and things to do on that day, sadly we had to miss the preschool working bee and 2 other parties. BUT after a LONG day learning lots about Maths MORE BPS crew headed into the city for Karen's hens night, fun was had by all of course and I loved my mocktails YUM......I think I drove over 300 kms in one day and by 12.30am I was sooo ready for 20 hours sleep.

Once again Sunday was no day of rest, shopping, cleaning and washing.......boy i was tired.

May 4-10

Dragged my tired bottom out of bed to work a 4 day week!

Max made himself sick at preschool by refusing to wee on the toilet. He had himself so worked up by the time I got there!!! So much for a nice afternoon pick up and a shop.....!!!!

Darren finally went to the DR about his ankle and after an hour and a half wait he did not take the x-ray back in - vowing to read it himself, no real prognosis as yet. He still has a slight limp so I am thinking Dr Darren still has problems. Max is concerned it might fall off (me too Max).

A nice mothers day assembly at school again.....well done Narelle. In true BPS style we ran around like chooks with our heads cut off to get everything to work....but I guess we are supper mums after all, we can do anything!!!!!!

I worked extremely hard on Saturday to finally iron 4 baskets of ironing. Then I went and had a much deserved scrap shop.

I had a good mothers day, I was spoilt with pressies, I loved my first ever "stall" pressie from Max.

happy Mothers' day to all

an oldie but a goodie!!!!

"You'll appreciate my wisdom someday when your older and your grown, can't wait 'till you have a couple little children of your own...... you will thank me for my counsel, i gave you so willingly but right now I'll thank you not to roll your eyes at me"!!!!!

April 27 to May 3

back to work. 2 days of staff development and most importantly 2 days of yummy lunches and lots of laughs.
Max loved going back to preschool but I was really sad as for 4 weeks my mornings allowed me to drop him off. I miss walking into his pre-school.....it is just the most fantastic place, I might hold him back from school to keep him there for an extra year!!!!lol

darren STILL has not been to the DR about his ankle. Over worked and exhausted....the joys of a business in these global times.

My day off flew by....coffee and a shop with Karen, some procrastinating in front of the computer, a little bit of cleaning, swimming lessons and BANG it was over. Never got to tackle the 3 baskets of ironing I STILL HAVE!!!!!!

A nice catch up with Veronika and the kids on Saturday ....naughty me forgot my camera. shame as we went to Lake Parramatta. A quick catch up with Joan at the scraproom too....gee I miss the fun we had in the scraproom on those Friday nights!!!!!

cleaning and boring stuff ended the week.

Max on his first day back at Pre School for term 2.

April 20-26

A really busy week after 2 weeks of doing nothing we started doing something.

Monday - When I woke up I decided I would take Max to the Easter show. We had a great day. We spent lots of $$$$ and ate lots of yummy food and saw lots of good things. It was a great decision. All he was fascinated in was a toffee apple SO despite the fact I was worried his bad tooth might FALL OUT I gave him one...it would not be the show without SUGAR!!!!! He started eating it at around 2, I was happy I kept the wrapper as he had a few rests from it. He finished at about 8pm. It was a shame he wanted to go home before the fire works...next year we will stay. I had not been to the show in 11 years, I went the first year it was at Homebush and that is it. When I was little I went every year......I remember dad carrying home about 10 show bags and I bought all the wigs and blow up toys on offer......oh I wish I had some photos of the show at Moore Park.

Tuesday - recovery day...washing, cleaning and Madagascar x 4

Wednesday - a happy day and then a MAD rush OFF to the Wiggles. Poor Max was hungry as it was right on lunch and he ate all the snacks I took and then wanted to leave mid show to eat. We stayed and he had a good time. Gee those boys are FIT.........Anthony is such the show off. We ended the day with a nice late Lunch with Elleni, Tash and the boys club.

Thursday - lots of plans to get stuff done but it was cold and we did not do much at all.

Friday - A big shop and then I finally went to see Joan at the Scraproom and gave her her 60th birthday present. A shop at scraploot to get myself some new yummy basic grey and then home to REST. Madagascar one more time please.

Saturday (ANZAC day) - a nice lunch and afternoon at Fagan Park. Max threw a big tantrum but ended up having a great day on the tyre ride and I was happy that he braved the flying fox...he is becoming such a daring and brave little boy.

Sunday - the usual Sunday - chores and Max decided to play in the clean clothes again and this time he put undies on his head, some on his arms and he danced and sang around. he told me to do it too so at one point I had undies on my head and was following his lead.
and the holidays came to an END.......11 weeks to go!!!! lol

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Watching the news tonight made me teary, the ode and the last post just makes me cry every year. Today I think of my dad and I am so proud of him and his father and grandfather. I think of my uncle Norm and his slouch hat on his coffin on the day he was buried. All proud men, all happy and honoured to be Australian.

I also shed a tear as dad did not march again as his partner is ill, I hope next year he will for his grand son.

Tonight I will start an Anzac day tradition and read Max the great book, pictured above.

I love you dad, my cobber!!!!

This month I had some great fun updating the Scraploot blog with layouts using stickers.

April 13-19

Restful and POSITIVE
We ended Easter by going for a walk at the park and hamburgers by the lake. On Easter Monday with no day sleep Max went to bed at 6.15 pm........WOW!!!!

I spent the first week of my holidays resting and thinking. I did a little scrapbooking and Narelle came over.......gotta love good company when needed.

A very restful week. After the MASSIVE and HAPPY news that after 22 months I was finally pregnant I expected big parties and champagne but I was tooo tired. An ultra-sound next week to confirm all was ok, but I was happy!!!!!

Darren went diving with Simon and we had a wonderful dinner with them to end the week.

ALL is great

April 6-12

a restful week - no school, lots of hoping.

Max became ill at preschool on Wednesday. He insisted on staying for his Easter concert where he made me proud as he sang along with the group and danced to the actions. He loved the egg hunt too and then ended up at the doctor. He had a throat infection and chest infection. We rested all day Thursday.

Darren turned 33 and we had a nice take away dinner with Karen, Mark and the girls

the week ended with Easter - a restful good Friday and a late evening at Karen and Mark's again watching their sensational DVD of the making of their house.

Max refused to attend his friends 5th birthday and put himself to bed- real signs he was still sick.

Darren's mate Allan who we had not seen in many years visited us on Saturday night.

I started cleaning my scraproom - the higher shelves had not been dusted since its installation in JAN 08, so I went through some rags!!!!

On Easter Sunday Max threw a 30 minute tantrum and stomped himself to sleep, 3 hours later he emerged happy and ready to play. We had a nice Chinese lunch and some chocolate, feeling a BIT off now!!!!!

Happy Easter

30th March to April 5th

tired of hearing about CC and Maxi from Roary the racing car ......you ask to go to the shop everyday to buy them.
I love it when Max reads and starts every page with one day...
Dr Lok provided us with some good news......all fingers crossed.
A nice dip for Max on Friday afternoon in a COOL pool
A nice dinner at Rashaeys with my wonderful husband and son.
A Wednesday night with good friends and lots of laughs and what ifs...
Preschool committe meeting.
Swimming ended for term 1.
Saturday was PJ day until 4pm.
eggs eggs eggs "everywhere" hurry up and let the season be over!!!!! lol
everyone ended up in our front yard this afternoon for a drink and a play. Darren had far too many!!! The kids played and Max got the dirtiest I had ever seen him after runny over the lawn, kicking the ball, tackling and being a bossy boy!!!!
Daylight savings ended sad as I love the 6 months of extra afternoon sunshine, I will miss Summer.

never a dull moment

Darren walks in the door at about 7.28pm after a hard day.
I am laying on the lounge watching biggest looser.
He says "Hi" loudly as he does not know where I am
I say "Hi babe".
Max chimes in with "Hi babe" from the toy room.
Darren and I laugh.

On Saturday night Max took all his PJs off and ran around saying rudey rudey....(hates being pant-less so this was strange for him.) He was in the most devilish mood, basically bouncing off the walls.
He then got a pair of Darren's undies out of the clean basket that needed to be folded and put them on.....................here was the result

23-29 March

  • the plovers at school are still causing dramas!!!
  • I ran a staff meeting on Numeracy

  • Up before the sun lots this week, cursing the traffic on the way into Liverpool.

  • Got my hair coloured.

  • 5 loads of washing on Thursday.

  • Max forgot (shock/horror) about the toy story gang this week and devoted lots of time to Roary the racing car............gee I miss Woody and Buzz!!!!!

  • the traditional 26th day Russell phtoto shoot. Max was not in the mood but I was in the mood to get it done , lots of hard work to get him to smile.

  • Max's swimming teacher was away and he was lucky enough to have Suzanne....she really proved what he can do......dog paddled 10m and kicked on his back for around 9m.

  • A massive mess of toys in the lounge room led to new rules about packing away before something new is played with.

  • Friday at school was FULL on from 10am...........I had 20 things to get done but a custody issue saw one job get done.

  • I worked at Scraploot on Saturday and Darren cleaned up out the back with Max.....who insisted getting in the otto to push down the freshly mown grass.

  • A relaxing Sunday even though I felt OFF. never touched the 4 baskets of ironing or got much school work done......my body is still tired and lazy.

  • It ended with a MASSIVE pillow fight with Max and Darren in the backroom, both not giving in..surprised no one was hurt as they BOTH played rough.

  • and for the first time in MANY years the end of March did not see the end of DST.....one more week of getting up in the dark.

  • 2 weeks to holidays ..........do you know how happy that makes me ......PJ day here we come.

scrapbooking

Last weekend I had a gorgeous weekend away scrapping with the girls. I really wanted to come home and continue to scrap the week away as I was and still AM sooooo tired and still off!!!

I had a great time with the girls. We had lots of space, great company and it was great to catch up with all my fantastic friends I have met while scrapping and we met 3 new friends too that decided to join us too!!!!

With a late start on Friday night and a nap on Saturday as I was not feeling the best here is what I got done....I also managed to finish Max's Russell album for 2006 8 pages in total in a 6x8 album ( I started it in Aug 07).

I love this COSMO spinner I got from Scraploot. I left it to spin and cut out the page protector for hours more fun!!!!!

most of them are true at some point in a day!!!! lol

16-22 March

A hard week.......that ended wonderfully.
A day off on Monday...I needed REST and Max and I did just that.
up early 3 mornings for tests, I dragged my bottom WAY out of bed before sunrise
lessons, lessons, lessons all day Tuesday and Wednesday.
I am happy that doctors visits mean I get to take Max to preschool. I love watching him walk in the gate, this truly is one of the BEST preschools around, they are soooo professional and the environment is soooooo engaging.

Thursday was the BIG presentation day for my principal and I. We had to present for 2 hours on our schools Mathematics programs. We pulled off a good presentation at the last minute, I literary had to call the school and organise some kids in the computer lab with 20 minutes to spare. We went to 4 schools and after 4 x 2 hour presentations my head was throbbing.
The day made me realise how happy I am to teach at BPS, I do love this school, settling in took a while but I don't think i want to ever leave, we have some excellent children and staff and things in the community can only get better. (touch wood it stays the great school it is)
The week was over work wise as I did not have to work Friday as I worked Thursday. BUT my body was in PAIN. I took myself off for a massage, pedicure and a coffee with a great friend...just what I needed after a morning of more early tests. I came home and just was tooooooo exhausted to pack for my scrap weekend away. I just wanted to relax and not have to pack and lug everything to the car.
After an afternoon nap and some rest I finally arrived late but happy I went. We had a great 2 days and nights, I wish I could do one of these retreats a month!!!!

Sadly the weekend came to an end (car all packed for the trip home).

Friday, March 20, 2009

9-15 March

testing, crying and shots.........what a job I have!!!!
We had a great Thursday at home, swimming and eating lunch on the trampoline.
I joined the fund raising committee at Max's preschool.
Darren fell of the back of the ute and BADLY hurt his foot.
we sat out on the rocking chairs and watched the rain from the front porch.
Tyler's 2nd birthday - a great day out. Max was playing with all the big kids and had a ball. We drove through Liverpool on the fire truck.

Sing Star

from swim star to sing star................i tell you i laughed alot tonight!!! It is a shame you are not as funny when the camera is on you, you are a natural performer!!!!

Cruella De Vil is the second song for those of you wondering who "big kella" is! I love the way you throw in the last word of each line. Buddy you crack me up!!!!!!!

Swim Star

At three years (and 6 days) of age you can.

Dog paddle for about 8 m.
Dive in, swim back to the edge and get yourself out.
Kick on your back with no board for 4m.
Retrieve objects in the shallow end with a slight push.
Do "rock and rolls" (tumble turns) in the deep end.
Kick with a board or noodle.
Duck dive in the deep end, going under as far as you can.
Do "big arms" when begged!
Push and glide.

I hate it when swimming season is over as i love playing in the pool SO MUCH.

one of those Max moments

Today you requested ham and bread rolls for dinner. You used the tongs at the local deli to pick the bread rolls yourself, even dropping one on the ground. When we got home I got caught up folding clothes and talking on the phone, the sun was setting and it was dark downstairs. We had been for a swim and after your bath you never got dressed. When I called you several times I got no answer, silence panicked me. IMAGINE my surprise when i switched on the light and sitting there was a naked, giggling boy eating a bread roll. Crumbs falling all over the bench and floor. You were nearly done and reaching for your second. I added the butter and ham and you were happy.

16th to 22nd Feb 09

Even more rain.

Max's favourite teacher was away from Preschool on Wednesday and he was so sad. It was harder to leave him, but when I arrived he was much happier.

Tax done....yipppe $$$$ in the post for Daz and I owe $4.

We went shopping and Max took Woody (from toy story) with him. He told me "i want to go to the toy sexon". When we got to the Big W sexon he was distressed to find NO other Woddy dolls. He gave me DIRECTIONS to Target and when we arrived he was excited to see another 6-8 Woody dolls. I soooo wish i had my camera (yes slap on the wrist for not having one with me). He sat his Woody down and he chatted with all the Target Woody dolls. He said "these Woody's want to come to our place". "They don't like it here". Max keeps begging me for ZURG and Weezy from Toy Story, he is such the little collector (bit like me really).

A busy day at school on Friday.

Lots of headaches this week.

A wonderful dinner with 40 online friends at Meat and Wine CO on Saturday night. It is really interesting how the www has opened the world up and I tell you I have met some lifelong friends on line. It was fantastic meeting the girls (5 who I have met before) that I chat and joke with online. There were girls from 4 different states and the nationals capital. AND look at that food, that was one yummy skewer.
Nathan's 3rd birthday at Mc Donalds.
Dinner with Jelena (we miss you Jelena).

Saturday, February 21, 2009

hey

having a morning at home. Max does not want to go to gymnastics and is preferring to play with his beloved Buzz and Woody. Anything for a quiet moment.......my head has been pounding for nearly5 straight days and the moaning and drama caused by a 3 year old is killing me!!!!

on the scrapping front
I am teaching at scraploot twice in March and I can't wait. Check out the details here.

One of the layouts I am teaching uses 8 sheets of the gorgeous cosmo cricket range. I loved having cool double sided coordinating pages. I just kept the paper out on my desk and created this..........

and there is another layout I will show in the class that I made too using lots of sewing and sanding AND I still have heaps of paper left to make another layout......gotta love coordinating double sided paper.

have a great weekend everyone

9th to 15th Feb

Darren was the last in the household to get the dreaded bug, he got it bad for 2 days.

It RAINED a lot, much cooler weather.

I had to swap my work days for a Maths meeting with the SED. That meant I had Wednesday at home and got to take Max to preschool. I had the best day, i loved saying goodbye to him in my own time and then i came home and did some housework. I then scrapped until pick up time. It was the best feeling. just a relaxing day, a ME day. I tell you it makes me LONG to win lotto and be a SAHM!!!!

Friday night - A fantastic girlie night at the movies. "He's just not that into you". Sadly most of the TOWN went along and we witnessed some interesting behaviours.

A quiet weekend, MORE rain!!!!!

Documenting

****must find more time to document ****
Being 3 is sooo tough

Max has had a tough 3 weeks as a 3 year old - new routines, sickness, new preschool, different swimming group etc. Tonight I was driving home after swimming and a tough trip out shopping hoping all will settle down soon.

Why does being 3 mean ....
whining is part of the everyday.
NO is not a suitable answer.
when NO is given as an answer it is always followed with "but please mum".
there is always a fight over the lollies at the cash register line
sentences start with I WANT.
crying is used to try and get your way.
if you scream it you think there is a chance i will say yes (still NO)
If I speak sternly to you you say back "say it nicely mum".
you are SOOOOO pleasant when I am on the phone (NOT)
It had to happen YESTERDAY
"WHERE IS EM, mum WHERE is EM???" is heard in a LONG whine.
at bedtime i hear "2 minutes mum".
When I am on the phone you are usually at your worst
but you still manage to make me laugh and smile everyday

the heat

today it was a rainy 24 degrees! a big change from the heat we have had for most of January and the heatwave that set in February. Sydney had 4 days with temps over 38 degress and it was 40 here for 2 days. The bottom half of our country scorched while some of the top was under metres of water??? Australia can produce some of the most powerful weather, especially in summer. On the weekend fires started in VIC and in NSW. Sadly in VIC they were fires like no one else had ever seen, raging fires that stood over 50 to 80m tall, they took homes leaving over 5000 homeless and killed at least 173 people. I feel for the people that just wanted to save their memories and their homes, they became trapped with no idea of the horrific bushfire blazing towards them.
the picture above will forever give me goosebumps.
after seeing all the sadness on the news I will remember that while life may seem tough with problems, nothing is more precious than being alive

1st Feb to the 8th

Heatwave!!!!!! A very hot week. Lots of afternoons in the pool and sweaty nights.
On Thursday Max was very upset after swimming. I quickly found out why as he vomited everywhere and then was sick way into the early hours of Friday. He recovered Friday and we went to Zoe's third birthday in the 40 degree heat on Saturday ( I think we had 4 days in a row with temps over 38). I then caught the bug!!! It really took valuable time away from what would have been a very relaxing weekend.

Darren RARELY gets in the pool, he might have been in it around 10-15 times, the heatwave got him in and we had a great Sunday afternoon relaxing and enjoying the Summer.

Little did we know (don't tend to watch much TV on the weekend) that Victoria was battling massive bushfires and lives had been lost. A cool brezze ended the HOT week!!!!

Thursday the 5th

How a wonderful day can turn to vomit!!!!This HOT day started off wonderfully. A nice morning swim, where Max continued to amaze me with his tricks in the pool. I taught him how to push off backstroke style and he swam on his back with his head submerged underwater!!!!
Some quick school work and a chat on the phone to Narelle about school things. Max was quite OH NO........he came to my scraproom door and announced "Rex got blue eyes", I thought he said glue and questioned WHERE he got glue from. On inspection I walked into the bathroom and had a big slip and slide on BLUE liquid soap!!!! When asked about the mess, Max threw Greg Wiggle in the air and said "Greg done it, i don't do it"!!! INNOCENT?? i think not!!!!
A lovely lunch, a catch up on my January Russell photos, some toy cleaning and then Max slept in his big bed for the first time.
We went off to swimming and he swam well. Max is still developing a trust with his new teacher as he does not seem to do as much with her as he did with Debbie I am sure it is a trust issue as he has been with Debbie since he was 9 months.
When Max got out of the car after swimming I got the mail. Before I knew it, VOMIT was everywhere!!! Poor baby. Max continued to vomit through the night. He missed the bowl and his second ever sleep in his big bed which saw me pulling sheets and quilts off in the early hours of the morning.
OH how a great day can turn to vomit!!!

26th Jan to 31st

A big week

Max and I had 5 weeks of holiday-ing, kicking back, doing what we wanted!!!! (((gotta love school holidays))). We celebrated his 3rd birthday with lots of friends and family, it was hot and we all partied in the pool. Max swam with his friends for over 4 hours and by 7pm he nearly fell asleep in his dinner! My legs ached from the clean up!!!!

Then on Tuesday ROUTINE HIT (((HARD))). It was back to early mornings, lunch boxes and work. Tuesday went ok......Max went to Linda's armed with cake to celebrate with.

On Wednesday it was time to start preschool. Max was up at SIX AM???!!!! By 8am he was tired. The toilet battle started, he refused to go to the toilet and I started to stress. By 8.15 he was crying and I wanted to cry and GIVE UP. After we picked dad up we both calmed down and we walked into Preschool and he posed for a photo and said goodbye.....I was so proud of him. I left work early as he has to be picked up at 2.30 for 4 weeks. When i got there my baby was asleep in a teachers arms, he apparently cried himself to sleep. He had had a few teary moments during the day and wet his pants at lunch time. When he saw me he was emotional but seemed to talk positively about the day. There is just a need to get him used to the toilets there.

Thursday I wanted to go into work to finish a few things I needed to do and to make up some time from Wednesday. When i dropped Max at Linda's he sobbed his heart out. POOR baby!!! He was so tired and emotional. He missed his sleep ins so much. When we were leaving Linda's he chucked a massive tantrum and threw himself all over the place (he thought her DVD was ours), he cried all the way home and continued for 15 minutes when we got home. He was drenched in sweat from head to toe and had wet his pants, it was tooo cruel to take a photo, but i tell you he was a MESS.
Our swimming lesson was moved as Max needed to move up a class, the afternoon time slot is great, frees up my day off. Max did not see it that way, he burst into tears again. A new teacher, a new time and the fact that she taught on the other side of the pool was too much to handle.

Friday went ok but it was the 4th day with temps above 30. Max was home with my mum. Southern Australia was in a heatwave with temps above 40. we were in the pool to 9pm.

Saturday, usual sleep in day but the BRIGHT HOT sun woke me so I got up and got some jobs done. then Narelle and I drove to scraploot and Max was a HANDFUL, I sounded like the screaming USELESS mother. I had had enough by 11am!!!!! lucky Max was asleep by 12, he was unwell again and slept until 4pm, only to be back in bed again at 8.30pm.....WHAT A WEEK!!!!
