a share!!

birthday photos to share

"No daddy, don't cut my puppy"!!!!!!

max, my boy, yesterday you had a little accident in front of my eyes, a little trip that I will regret for years to come!!!! It brought tears to my eyes all day, it is making me cry now. I never wanted to say anything as I am experiencing the most guilt I have ever in my entire life. I love you baby and when that little chipped baby tooth falls out a weight will be lifted off my shoulders. I never knew that a chipped baby tooth would tear me apart as much as it has! I want to curl up in a ball and DIE!!!! I want to turn back time and WISH the what ifs happened!!!!!

YES i know there are worse things in the world but that cute, cheeky little grin wont be the same. Ok stopping now before I water log the keyboard, WHY CAN'T I GET OVER THIS????

I love you Max, more than anything in the world!!!!!!

goodnight one year old boy!

tomorrow morning he will wake up and be TWO!!!!!

i am not as emotional as last year, but as i put all his bibs away today (not that he has worn them for 6 months) I just hoped I can do it all again one day!

This morning started out as a REAL WELCOME to the terrible twos as he threw himself on the floor at the shopping centre. He refused to sit in the trolley or in the stroller (push chair for my UK reader!). He screamed, kicked and made one very big scence! Darren was beside himself and at one point I think i had tears in my eyes! the screaming and the tantrum went on for 3 aisles and we had had enough so Darren took him home! and yes he is sick and has his final two teeth coming up but man it was one performance!

my doctor has ran a few tests on Max's breathing and chest problems and she seems to think he has asthma, we are trialing him on ventalin! hoping all goes well and we can get some answers as soon as possible.

well i am falling asleep so off to bed, sadly the scraproom still looks like it has vomited chipboard but I still have 3 salad and spinach dips to make so I NEED my rest
happy Australia day!

"GONE NOW"

that is what Max said as Kirsten left Sydney airport this afternoon.

Here is Max and Kirsten after our adventure to the cold blue mountains in our summer clothes....I kid you not thousands of Japanese tourists snapped pics of him all afternoon.

thanks for the memories "my lady". You will be missed, esp in the mornings as WHO will Max have to pester!!!!

I am feeling a little lonely........that might mean i will have to get some scraproom unpacking DONE!!!!!!

LOOK OUT tourist about!

For 3 FUN weeks I have had my great mate Kirsten from England stay with us. We became PEN FRIENDS when we were 15 and we first met in 1999 at my wedding! Today (although only 1am) marks her last day here!!!! :(

We had a great time in the rain touring the blue mountains today. We left an overcast 27 degree day in Sydney and arrived at the blue mountains to 16 degree weather............flip flops/thongs, singlets and shorts. Max was not worried....I spent $15 on an ugly beanie and scarf and he threw them off half way along the walk (after 15,000 Japanese tourists took his photo) MUST post photos soon.

Here we are the day before up on Sydney tower! WHAT a sensational view. My nephew Kyle came along with us too! As our tour guide pointed out KINGS CROSS and referred to it as the RED light district he looked at me puzzled- sorry Kyle I am NOT explaining that one to a 13 year old!!!!
We are home late tonight as Darren took us into Darling Harbour for a wonderful seafood dinner, YUM YUM! then we went for a drive into Kings Cross, just to show Kirsten what our tour guide was talking about!!!!!

NOW it may LATE but I want to continue my button sorting.....more about that later!

We had a lazy day by the pool today.......off tomorrow on another adventure....going north!!!!

I should be unpacking my scraproom, instead I am going back over photos of 2007, thinking about the year....I have no resolutions....is that a bad thing.......???......maybe it should be not to waste time...have afeeling I say that every year!!!!
