I was trying to post everyday in OCT, i was cheating and then sickness, stress, busyNESS and LIFE got in the way of my cheating.

I was a guest designer for Jen Hall's wonderful classes on a private blog this month.... I have LOVED getting a layout a day everyday for October! And if you have no time like me to scrap at the moment that is OK as Jen will leave the blog open for the rest of the year.

Wednesday while at the hairdressers

Max fell in love with Jenny the cute and bubbly apprentice.

He was loving having the big couch to himself

When another client sat down he KICKED her

she told him to stop

he said "this is my seat"

she ignored him and Jenny watched on.

meanwhile he was blowing Jenny kisses

I was picking my NEW colour and redesigning my drab look.

I was thinking my son was being a chatterbox, not a hodlem.

He kicked the lady again.

Jenny was smiling at him and adoring him.

When Darren came to pick Max up and the client left the girls were laughing soooo much.

I asked Jenny why she did not tell me and she said

he is SOOOOOO cute i could not get him into trouble, and she is not a nice lady anyway!!!

so when I got home I asked him, did you kick a lady??
He said "yeah i did"!

I said you cant do that, that is horrible.

He looked sad and then said, "she on my seat"...."my seat".

I am not happy with the order of the beads when I took this shot, I NEED more of a pattern about it. PLus the wonderful Miss A is getting me another glass bead for my birthday and that will help my need to create a patterns

Kim is offering a great class on her @ HOME website. It looks like something I would love as I LOVE to REMEMBER!

Do you remember the perm............wow I used to soo want a perm as I had frizzy HUMID type hair that fluffed up! I waited until year 10 when I had a job and I paid for it! WOW a perm made my hair much easier to deal with !!!!!

Here I am with Daz in 1996. I was in 2nd year at Uni and I had the most gorgeous spiral perm, it lasted for 3 years(I think it was at least 12 months old in this pic), I think I ended up cutting it off in the end it lasted sooooooo long

Suddenly thirty TWO

FAR OUT.........2 years ago I named this blog and here I am still wishing I would stay forever Suddenly 30 !!!!!
I have not worked on my birthday since pregnant in 2005! I have been blessed with 2 years of weekend birthdays! So today it was off to work. My mum comes over to mind Max on Monday and Tuesday and today I got a sing-star off her so I cant wait for a girly sing star night here soon! However watch out appartently Max is IN LOVE with the sing star and sang all day today!
I arrived at work to lovely messages from friends and my wonderful class! My wonderful buddy Narelle SPOILT me with a Pandora braclet. I was also lucky to get charms for my birthday, one is yet to be FOUND as Max grabbed the box and it went flying across the floor!
Darren got me my SCUBA lessons ....so SHARKIES here I come!
Other than that it was a very quiet and routine type day. Daz fell asleep at 8.30 and Max had a temp and would not let me put him down from 6pm to 7pm. We never made it out to dinner so take-away Chinese it was!!!

Max and I went for a walk and it was on and off stormy weather. When we got back I felt how warm the pool was. I jumped in and Max did not want to. 15 minutes later he striped himself naked and was in. We spent 40 minutes relaxing and laughing!

I got to catch up with my three wonderful pals from mums group today and we welcomed Simone's gorgeous little baby Sienna !!! It was soooo priceless watching our nearly three year olds play, chat, push, run and EAT! As they all met when they were Sienna's age, wrapped up in their prams!!! Sorry for the lack of photos as there was a LOT of cuteness today, words just aren't enough!!!!

Friday is a work day

NO!!! I left very late after chasing my tail all day! we all had a staff bonding session in the carpark as we were locked out for a while too! (8.40 to be exact) Oh the joys of where I work, Rel honey I laughed soooooo hard about Lenny the Lizard I think i wet my pants! I wonder if Pandora make a Lizars charm???

After a relaxing day at home and some acupunture we went off to see Marg and Graham, who we had not seen in ages! Max decided he liked them so much it was ok to call them Nan and Pop. It was soooo cute and I was sad I had no camera to capture his fascination in these wonderful people! Marg and I had sooo much to catch up on but Maxi decided Marg was HIS and kept interupting our chats with calls to "look nan"!!!
Can't wait to catch up soon. Happy birthday for Wednesday Marg my Libran buddy.

I dont do BROWN!!!!! (very well)

Today I jumped out of bed and rushed around to get ready QUICK....another sleep in.
Lucky I had my new STAFF t-shirt to wear......I have a latte one and chocolate one. I tried BOTH on with 6 pairs of pants and could not find a COMBO I was happy with ..........BROWN............JUST SOOOOOOO BROWN....now I know how my students feel in brown. I was throwing clothes all over the place and wishing maybe we got YELLOW as well (my second school colour) as I looked sooooooooo drab.

I got to school just on 8.05...............so BROWN

I then got home and Darren looked at me.............he looked up and then down and then UP again.......yep BROWN, well latte but I had BROWN pants (from 7 years ago) and BROWN shoes (from the year I started a BPS).......when BROWN was IN!!!!

I looked like BELINDA IRWIN........I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday I am wearing cut off jeans (sorry the AP does not do jeans on a Wednesday it just aint right) and my CHOCOLATE shirt .........I wonder if I will look like I work at Australia ZOO on Friday..........................I think i will ring the company and ask for a yellow sample.........i can alternate between wee and poo (sorry now I sound like my year 1's).

yes I am really sad to say goodbye to my holidays. I LOVE my holidays as I get to spend time with my boy and as these holidays showed achieve very little.

Today we just decided at 12 to go for a drive to La Perouse and and Daz went for a SCUBA dive. I sooo want to do my SCUBA course and experience what it is like to go in the OCEAN and swim with Port Jackson sharks.wow! Soon i will..i promise myself.

LAST NIGHT my little guy was the centre of attention with some 21 year old girls...gee he played them and I swear he was playing hard to get with some cute eyelash battering and Max type expressions.

Our wonderful neighbour turned 21. SHe is just the sweetest thing! my great walking partner and my own personl GHD hair curler when i need her - Happy birthday Jelena!!!

We also celebrated Tayla's 10th on Friday night.........wow time is flying!

I have not made a list these holidays, hence I have not achieved much ...just rest, socialising and some scrapbooking.

Tonight i have decided i need to achieve ONE thing....I need to loose 6-8 kg........I just need to do it, stop putting it off and PUNISH myself if I dont. In 2000 i had the greatest WILL POWER anyone could ask for........i had self control and determination. NOW nudda, ZIP!!!!!! I often think...oh i will be pregnant soon so worry about it AFTER........well it is time to worry.

Maybe it is becuase I live such a social life, I have had 5-6 parties/THINGS on these holidays ALONE, all with yummy food and this Friday I have another birthday............TOO BAD, it is TIME. JUST DO IT belinda.......JUST DO it

SPRING forward FALL backwards

now you will never forget what to do when Daylight saving time hits.

I LOVE daylight saving and gotta LOVE that we get it even earlier this year. It is 1.14am and I am waiting up for the BIG change...lol!!! No I have been up SORTING. I have put over 120 layouts in albums and sorted over 450 photos into slip albums and I am still a year behind.

and yes as a gift I loose an hours sleep, an OK price to pay for more daylight and faded curtains.

I just found this shot of Max on the rings at Gym last Saturday. He has such a good time and is so confident.

4th OCT

Now today was more like my wedding day, pouring with rain and 22 degrees.
Max and I enjoyed a nice sleep in to 9am and a PJ morning, gotta love those.

Max looked so cute as he helped Darren fill the car with petrol tonight. He held Barney (the dinosaur) up and he was holding the hose too. Such a cute picture. As I got out to take the shot Darren ordered me back into the car and said they would turn the pumps off if I used my camera.....man I tell you he has no patience when it comes to a good photo. So i took one form the car instead and nothing went BOOM!!!!

9 years ago today it poured with rain, stopping briefly for a 3pm service. I must scan a wedding photo.
Today it was 33 and HOT. Daz was exhausted after a hard day at work, so we cancelled dinner plans and we had take away Chinese. I annoyed him for the usual anniversary photo, I had 3 goes before he had had enough and this is the best I got!!!! He was snoring on the lounge by 8pm - the joys of getting up at 4.30am 6 days a week.
Dinner out tomorrow night with my boys.

October begins....

what a nice way to start my second favourite month!!!

A nice catch up with the girls from work, lots of swimming, nice food and lots of laughs.

Here is Max with Luke and Ben, all tired out after many hours in the pool. Narelle and I took off to scraploot after everyone had left and the boys had more fun times together while we got some hot NEW products.

Oh - 30 days have September

Gee i had one more day left in September until I went to the calendar and had a OH YEAH moment! I teach this rhyme over and over all year.....and I still thought I had until Sept. 31 before OCTOBER arrived. lol..........I wish time would slow down, I have lots to do...

Anyway holidays are here and I am sooooo happy. A busy term over

remember challenge

I am getting frustrated with myself as I love to remember.....i have a good memory for dates and remember LOTS but I just can't remember EVERYTHING. Sometimes I cant even remember where my keys are...let alone when Max started his obession with diggers. I have been meaning to sit down and add to our journals for weeks as I have really let this habit go and that makes me sad....I love to remember.

the other night I was looking for a shot of me..........I have a lot, thanks to my friend Alison, my bathroom mirror and my husband who will snap away for 12 seconds and hope he gets one IN FOCUS one of me not blinking.

Anyway I started to remember..........lots, but not all ......so as of tomorrow I am going to write more down before I go off blog hopping and posting on the parent chat forum i love reading.

I am not happy with my weight

I love having my hair curled by my neighbour

My mobile was broken and I failed at going for 2 years with the same mobile by 4 months.

I worked a 4 day week.

I spent Friday night having fun with the girls from work, Saturday at a wedding and Sunday night having fun with at our IDOL party.

I can't keep up with the ironing and washing lately.

I spend way too much time on the computer thinking about the things I love instead of doing them.

I wish more than anything that I was pregnant.

I am 31 years and 326 days old

Yesterday I was rel. principal of a school and while I liked the comfy chair I don't think I will ever go there.......it just does not seem rewarding...the classroom is rewarding.

I hate the fact I cant do things to my house at the moment as we dont have enough cash...I hate high interest rates, I go to bed dreaming of having money to spend on everyting I WANT AND NEED.

Happy Father's day Daz.

It was great watching you receive the handmade gifts Max made you at Linda's (FDC).

We also gave you a retro Parramatta Jersey and a book called My Dad.

Max was so excited about mowing the lawn with Dad today, he just follows him up and down and holds on to the mower when he can. I remember when I was little I would follow the tracks my dad made. I guess as a kid it is relaxing watching someone mow the lawn.

We went to visit my Dad too. Max soooo adores his POP, he follows him everywhere and enjoyed time in the garden with him today too.

Sheree gave me a blog award. Sometimes I wish I had more time to scrap with this girl, life always seems to get in the way, maybe these school holidays.

Spring is here!!!!

YIPPPPEEEEEE!

My mum's birthday always means the end of winter and brighter warmer days! Day light saving is 4 weeks away, another big YIPPPEEEE!!!

I had a fantastic time away scrapping with the girls, we got the best deal EVER and it was fantastic. So good we are doing it again at LEAST 3 times next year......we had a private cabin, great light, great food and great company - what else could we ask for.

A comment (by a male) was made at work today about me going away scrapbooking and suggesting that means I HAVE NO LIFE!!! It made me think of the line

"I HAVE a LIFE that is WHY I scrapbook"

Here is a LO I did on the weekend. I got 12 done in total, 10 for me and 2 for Kathryn as she was my bidder in the KSK auction. I will share more soon.

Oh my.....

I am meant to be taking off tomorrow at 3 to a scrapping retreat at the bargain price of $86, and YES it includes FOOD! I cant wait but Narelle NO I never got my photos printed.......not that i dont have any!!!!LOL

My bags are not packed, i have a back ache and I am glued to my heat pack

I have 3 baskets of ironing

I got home at 8 tonight after 4 days straight at work, which includes 3 inserves in 2 days and many miles!

anyway the bright side is my working week is over!!!!!

I will have a good weekend, 20 scrappers in the one room , of course we are going to have fun!!!!

We lost our little staffy (my little pussy cat) today.

We noticed she had weepy eyes on Wednesday and thought she just had a cold as it has been very COLD here. Today she would not leave her bed so Daz took her to the vet.

She had a massive eye tumor and that meant her eye had to be removed and as it was so big it could give her brain damage. The vet said she might not be her happy self again as she would be protective as she would be blind in one eye. As Max and her play together I could not RISK it. I could not take her to the vet and I am feeling empty as Darren said his goodbyes and has had a cry. I could not go, I could not say goodbye but now as the tears start to swell I feel sooo bad I did not give her one last kiss!

My fondest (and funniest) story of this little rascal was when I walked both her and Bronte though the lakes at the back of the new estate in 2001. It was a hot January morning and I had lost a lot of weight and my wedding rings were loose. Bronte would go for a swim in the lake but Pebbles would never leave my side. This time Bronte swam right off and I was calling her back, all of a sudden Pebbles jumped in and started to swim too. It was like she did three strokes and just SUNK, GONE!!!!! I ran into the dirty lake and scooped her up as I did I felt something weird on my left hand............OH MY GOSH my rings. I splashed and searched and just paniced as Pebbs gasped for air and all I could think about was my wedding rings. I walked home in the HOT morning sun WET, MUDDY and CRYING. no one could see the tears as I was sweating sooo much. I thought about borrowing my friends pool scoop and going back!!! I even wondered about redrawing from our home loan. I cried all the way home......................i had a shower and sulked for 3 hours.

THEN I sat on my bed and there they were. My rings, they had fallen off that night and I had forgotten i put them on my bedside table...............oh man the day Pebbles made me save her life had turned out ok!!!!!

Miss ya ! We will never forget your noises, your big tongue, your gorgeous muscles, and the way you cleaned yourself like a cat.

random thoughts

Well I am on weight watches (again) and it is a SHOCK to the system but I am IN THE ZONE and need to loose 10 kg. Baby making is on hold, my brain needs a rest from it all, it was doing MY HEAD IN!!! I have done VERY well for 4 days now and I know once this week is over it will be second nature again, and as the weather warms up I will walk more and 10kg will come quickly.

I am madly saving $$$$. I have to realise I just can't spend like I used to. Plus if i want to get to a great holiday destination for my 10th wedding anniversay next year I need $$$. I have done very well and hey I am eating less food so that has to help!!!! LOL.

today i was sad when Grant Hackett lost the 1500m. The Aussie's have owned this race at Olympic and Commonwealth games level since 1990, and today the reign came to an end. In 2000 I was screaming at Grant for beating Kieran Perkins, hoping and praying Kieran would get the triple. At least in 2000 it went to another Aussie! but today we lost our second chance at the triple. I feel sorry for Grant, I just wanted him to have that bit if history for him and the Aussie fans!!!!

and WHY will i be staying up to the WEE hours of the morning for the next few nights! I am now a photoshop FREAK!!! LOL I went to Janine's house today for a photshop course. And i leant sooooooo much!!!! I am off to play and tweak. It was a great afternoon spent chatting, playing and learning, what else could a girl ask for on a Sunday afternoon!!!!

the Olympics!!!! I love seeing Aussie's win and being proud of them. At school i am loving the buzz too! We had an Olympic day and there was sooo much colour and spirit, it was sooo nice. Here is the slide show I created for the whole school, 10 kids in my class were born in 2000, one on the day the Sydney Olympics started!!!!

I have loved walking my class to the library this week to watch the swimming finals and cheering on the aussies. They are sooo cute, one of my students asked me how I knew we were going to win as every time we went to the library we WON!!! I just nodded and told her I KNEW everything!!!! LOL

I am loving watching Max as I have taught him to call out GO AUSSIE - he yells "Aussie GO GO" too cute! Each afternoon we sit and watch the diving and as they jump he says "WHOOO........splash" "WHOOOOOOO............splash".

Kylie Tout I love you too! After coming home with a headache yesterday as I had toooo much fun in the sun at the Olympics I was soooooooo excited to open all this!!!!!!! Wonderful scrapping clearly albums!!!!! I cant wait to use them, they are the cutest shapes - a house, a van, an arrow and a train, plus a 6x6, 3x2 and lots of little bits. Plus the funkiest scallop scissors that I cant wait to use. HUGS Kylie you made my week!!!!

Oh and here is wags THE DOG Max had a great day with Alex, Sophie and Charlotte at the Wiggly play centre at Seven Hills. He was sooo HAPPY to meet wags too, I am turning him into a Wiggles groupie!!! LOL

Oh the roller coaster ride of life

well it has not been a week that will go down as one of my favs, and hey it is not even OVER YET!!!

I guess my PMT set in early and it led me to be very emotional and angry in a staff meeting, I was sad (holding back tears) about what was being said and after many weeks of hard work just really wanted to walk home! If it was not for my wonderful class I would have. It really should not have upset me...........I know better than that but hey..........oh well!!!!

Anyway DH is driving me nuts as he is stressed and having a very bad time...........grrrrr...so we are both bears with sore heads. Then to top it all off another month of not being pregnant has just made me feel so blue tonight. I hugged Max sooo tight tonight and tried to talk myself into the fact that it would be ok...............will it be??? I know it will it just does not feel like it right now........I am so looking forward the 29th month of trying (15 with Max)!!! Yes life could be worse i know!!!!!

To tip me over the edge bloglines would not work for me......i had 2 nights of withdrawals. it kept reading page can not load. For those of you that use bloglines you can imagine how stressed i was. LOL. I have fixed it by downloading a new version
