Pursuit of Happyness - When i saw this on the big screen I sobbed openly and now I own it I am tooooo scared to watch it again alone. Oh gosh I am teary just thinking about what he went through.

MyBest Friends Wedding- "oh there will be dancing" - love most things Julia does but it was here that I fell in love with Rupert Everett!!!

Parenthood- It soooo summed up the highs and lows of life! and the electrical ear cleaner was BIG!!!!

Stepmom - Oh I cried!!!! this bit just sums it up "My fear is that on her wedding day she is going to say I wish my mom was here" and Susan S says "and my fear is that she WON'T".

Stand by me - As a teenager i watched this about 1000 times, I knew it word for word. Early this year my dad found it in Big W and gave it to me, I watched it and I realised I loved it sooo much as it was about friendship and sticking together. And River and Corey were such SPUNKS!!!!!

Jerry McGuire - No it was not Tom but little Ray that captured my heart!!!! "You had me at Hello .....you had me at hello" loved the track that went with this too by Bruce Springsteen.

WOW already!!!!! I have sadly packed away the scrapping stuff and I am MADLY planning my spelling, homework and a Dinosaur unit! Tomorrow night it will be Maths and the playground duty timetable!!!! FUN FUN FUN!!!!

Here is a layout I did last night! It is a bad scan (cut off all my FunKY sewing around the edge) but I can't find the usb cord for the camera??!! MAX where is it?????

The rubons are Hambly and I LOVE them!!! well i had SOOO much planned for the holidays and sickness got in the way!!!! 11 weeks (YES 11)!!!!!!!! until more R n R!!!! I know that is going to fly and it will be October before we know it!

SICK!!!

We slept in today until 10 am again! this is Max's third day of feeling under the weather!!! I blame eye teeth and a small cold but when he wakes up i will take him to the doctors as he has had a few high temps!!!! Here he is about 10 minutes ago - he just put himself to sleep. I have now put a blanket over him and he is dead to the world! the cough will wake him up soon !!!!

So these holidays have been the sick holidays!!! First me, then Max!!! I have not done half the things i planned and there is only one day to go before I have to pack up all my scrapping stuff and do about a week of work for school!!!!!

He is a class I did online with KimArcher! I plan to make it into a double and have all the journaling on the other side! I loved this class as she showed us how to EDIT the square so PICASA does not cut the wrong part of the photo in a square!!!! LOVE IT NOW!!! before i was so frustrated as it chopped off myheads. THANKS KIM!!!!





I have also stayed up late for the last 2 nights (while watching BB)! I finished Max's 2006 album! All the layouts were done but I added all the journaling and my picasa images were edited WELL NOW!!!!In this bad photo you can see August LO and journaling and June is behind August as I dropped the ablum and BROKE all the page protectors. So everything was everywhere until i fixed them

Iam going to start a LO as my boy sleeps!!!!

Oh i have to catch up on the finale of Prison Break too as I was out last night!!!!! Oh at least 7 months before I see the GOOD LOOKING Wenworth :(

What is on my mind right now on the first day of my school holidays

SKIN CHECK
Darren and I found out on the weekend that Matthew B from high school died from skin cancer. HE was 30 and worked indoors! It was such a sad shock. My memory of him and Darren from high school was doing burnouts in the school car park. He drove a cute little Datsun Stanza and had an infectious laugh.
My promise to myself when we put the pool in was to get a skin check!and I am ashamed to say that while i have the referral i have not done a thing about it. PLEASE everyone - check your skin!

THE FLU
Yep i have it bad!!!! I hate it. I hate that it is impacting on my holidays and the things i have to get done. plus i have the WIGGLES concert with max on Wednesday and that is NOT something i want to do with the headache, runny nose and sneezing i have!

The KMART TOY SALE
If i had a blog last year I would have made you laugh with some of the stories from the adventures I had last year at 12.01am at the MASSIVE KAMRT toysale! So this Wednesday night we do it all again! ME, Karen, Tanya, Jannelle and whoever else wants an adventure! So if anyone gets their hands on the catologue in the mail let me know if there is anything good! We NEVER get Kmart junk mail - but thank goodness for online!

I am off to do a little scrapping! that is until i fall into a heap!

When a BAD week turns into an EXCELLENT one!!!

Don't you love it when a bad week ends well! The kind of well where you scream in delight!!! It has been one of those weeks! making you read the whole post to find out why I screamed with joy!!!!

Reports have been killing me! I am working part time but carrying a FULL TIME work load. The new format and the need to comment on every KLA has been a real drag, then once mine were finished the marking of the 3 people I supervise began! I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and only have one class set to go.

THEN just to make me earn my money it was our schools 25th birthday this week. So there was lots of things to be done - time capsules, photos, food, displays and games! By Thursday the kids were climbling the walls (luckily my day OFF)! Then Firday a staff birthday function and heaps of work to take home this weekend for Semester 2 planning and programming! It is never ending but if i get though it all tomorrow night i can REST in the holidays!

the week was crazy due to Max's eye teeth cutting, MASSIVE piles of washing, massive piles of ironing, lack of sleep, a STY in my EYE (EWWW!!!) and Darren working back as he is SOOO flat out! I have had hardly any sleep as I was staying up late to get reports done and squeeze housework in!

Then came the news that Scrapabout was going to be closing! I nearly cried! I have REALLY enjoyed attending classes there this year! Leanne really catered for advanced scrappers and has some talented teaching staff! It is such a sucessful store and she has worked so hard! I am really going to miss it. All the best Leanne and i sooo respect you for your decision! It would break my heart to close the doors on what you have.

the week started to pick up yesterday! I had the pleasure of doing a guest teaching spot at ALL ABOUT SCRAPBOOKS. Vanessa and Katrina are so funny and it was so nice to teach at their store! It reminded me how much i loved scrapbook teaching. YES i miss it in sooo many ways but not in so many others! They are having a big sale next week so pop in (link in side bar!).

THEN at about 3.50 yesterday the hard week i had turned MUCH better and it made me SQUEAL, it made me sooo HAPPY. I even rang Alison and instead of saying hello i screamed!!!!!

I have been selected to be on the KSK design team! WOW i am soo happy! KSK has been my home for 3 years! I have made life long friends at KSK who make me laugh and giggle every day! We love to challenge each other, teach each other and CHAT!!!!! This has not only made my week it has made my year! We are celebrating our birthdays together!

Today I had the pleasure of going to scrapabout to say a farewell to Leanne and do Jen Hall's class. It was a great class and Jen's daily scrapping journal is SOOO cool. It was great to see it and i will do one soon i promise! I love the project I started and will finish it in the holidays.

Oh more news came in today - I have been asked to teach at a retreat in August at Meroo. More details shortly! It is the weekend of the 10th to the 12th and only costs $150 for wonderful food and a cozy location!

I am about to finish a massive pile of school work - I estimate I will finiah about 1am BUT i dont care as I am NOW HAPPPPPPYYYYYYYY!!!!!! and this week could not be worse than last week - COULD IT????

Today I went to see Max and Millie from NEW McDonalds farm and on the long weekend I went to he farm with my mum and dad!

Mummy is STILL going crazy with reports - she still has English to go and then she has to mark 2 WHOLE class sets!!!!!!

Daddy did my hair the other night! Don't i look cool!

Boo!!!

My mummy is really busy writing reports! Poor thing has NO TIME to join in all the great challenges over at KSK . She played with me all morning at poppy's place, then I slept for 3.5 hours. Instead of writing reports she had a nanna nap!!!!!

I am about to go to bed so i hope she uses her time wisely and does not play on the computer! I hope she gets her work done so she can get her scrapping time BACK!!!!!

Lee tagged my mummy. But she has done the 7 random things before and to think of another 7 would waste more rport writing time - so i will tell you 7 random things about me!

1. I throw a tantrum at least one time a day to TRY and get my own way! (not working).

2. I LOVE keys! I carry them around everywhere when i can.

3. I love crawling in my tunnel and hiding from everyone.

4. I am usually a good listener. I can follow directions given by my mum and will go and get what she asks me to get.

5. I have a new swimming teacher and I DISLIKE her! I want Debbie back she was the best swimming teacher, she was sweet and easy! My new one is strict and makes my swim for a metre by myself so i ignore her and NOW i cry at swimming. This makes me swallow lots of water!

6. i can ring my mummy's friends on her mobile! Lucky Aunty Alison gets lots of calls!

7. I sleep in! Yep mummy loves this! On Saturday i woke at 9am! I am POPULAR!!!

Hi!!!

WOW I was happy and inspired to see what Kim Archer has done!!!!! I have signed up for one of her classes as with a 16 month old it is hard to get out of the house to scrap!!!!! Although I did venture out last night for Alisons FANTASTIC photo editing class at scrapabout Aust!!!! I am really happy with what I leanrt and am about to go and explore the world of brushes and to find more actions!!!!

I had a great Sunday at the Paper Arts Festival at Homebush - I got to demonstrate some great product lines available from Addicted to craft. My fav are the gelitins stamps!!!!! LOVE them!

WOW another Sunday night is here!!! I hate Sunday night I never go to bed early and wake up with BAD monday-i-tus!!!!!

So i will be quick so I can SCRAP!!! Oh and I scrapped last night!!!! loving the new daisy D rubons!!!!

Some of us from Mothers group went to Lollipops!!!! WOW we had sooo much fun!!! I mean the kids had SOOO much fun!!!! Look at me like a big kid on the massive slide!!!! Gotta do this again. Nathan and Zoe - Max and Charlotte want to take you on a date there really SOON!!!

Today we took Max to the park and I got some good photos!!!! Today he just laughed and laughed all day!!!!! his laugh is SOOOOO funny - it sounds FAKE!!!! a bit put on but it really makes us laugh and then he laughs even harder!!!! must get the video out this week ti tape it!!!

the last 6 days!!!

Saturday.

Max started Kinder Gym (Gymbaroo) and it was a let down! We spent more time singing and looking at "words" than actaully on the equipment playing!!! I signed up for GROSS MOTOR not literacy skills! HE even GOT literacy homework! COME ON!!!!! We only got about 20 out of 45 min on the equipment and SORRY I am paying for the equipment - I can sing and read at home!!!

WE WANT MORE TUNNEL TIME!!!!!!!

Then i went home and did a fantastic photo shoot for Kathryn! I actaully was nervous for the first time ever! I think because there was SOOO many of them and the light was doing weird things!!!

I am loving playing with them getting some different looks!

Then on Saturday night we popped into Charlottes from Mums group tp return things to them and ended up staying for dinner! I sooooo wish i took my camera as Max had a bath with Charlotte and wore her white and pink PJs home!!! He looked SO pretty! Poor boy! Note to seld TAKE CAMERA EVERYWHERE!!!!! NOTE to SANTA!! I want a pocket cannon for the baby bag!!!

i headed off to SCRAPBOOKING and BEYOND to work at the Addicted to Craft stand! I was sooo lucky as not only did i get to DROOL over all the HOT Gel-i-tins stamps, EVERYTHING Maya RD, and I could go ON and ON!!!

I also got to catch up with Karen from KSK!!!! I love seeing the boss lady !!!!!

Ok i was sooo lucky as I got to help Jodie from daisy d's!!!!! She ran a great class! Here is the cover of the maya rd album! It was awesome! I drooled over the yummy robons all day!!! I am SOOOOOO busting to use them ALL!!!!!!! Jodie was sooo cool and she was a great teacher. We talked about the states and scrapbooking in Australia. I recommend you go and check out the DD website as they have the HOTTEST ideas and then find a shop that stocks DD as I am totally addicted to the rubons! I know scraploot has some.

then after a day filled with sensory OVERLOAD!!!!! Karen and I had dinner with Alison! it was sooo good eating yummy food and chatting!

we chatted until very late and the lovely Karen gave me a KI felt album!!! MORE drooling! I lOVE you KAren!!!!

TODAY!!!

Karen and I hit the shops! She had a 1pm flight so we had to MOVE!!!!It was sad to say goodbye again!!! I SOOOO Karen and Sally lived down the road - Tassie is toooo far away for such great mates!

on the way home Max vomited for the first time EVER!!!! He was sooo scared!!! he is better now - slept it off for 3 hours this afternoon! I am going to clean this scraproom AGAIN!!!!!!

Stamping up is in!!! So I will be delivering ASAP!!! emial me if you want to organise a time!!!!

......I don't, when mum took me for a walk in the evening I kept taking it off! Desn't she know that it was 27 degrees today and it is UNSEASONALY warm for MAY!!!

My mummy has been so busy - beside playing with me and teaching me to touch type she has...

been preparing work for her 1/2 class... she says they are sooo demanding and have soo much to learn BUT they are a nice class of sweet kids that she enjoys teaching. She worries about their numeracy skills and is always trying to teach them MORE.

Mummy went to KIWI SCRAPS as a teachers aide!!! She was sooo excited and happy.. I heard her tell Daddy she worked hard but got to chat with so many great girls and do some good classes all at once! Wow wasn't she lucky! The KIWI SCRAPS thing sounded so exciting and she did not stop talking about it for days, she learnt something called felting and started an excellent doodling page (on me of course)!!!!

DID you know I turned 15 months! I am SOOOOO clever (and some people tell me I am cute) - well OK EVERYONE tells me I am cute!!!!! I can stand up by myself, jump in the pool and kick to mum, I can chat on the phone (like mother ...like son)!!!! I love keys and pots are my NEW favourite toys! Lots of packages have been arriving on our door step. SOme have been for me as Mummy has an addiction to ebay and has been buying all these Little People toys that are no longer available in the shops. I am not complaining!!! She was happy today when she got a package from Katja. She loved her kit and cant wait to use it!

Tomorrow I start GYMBAROO so i will type an update as soon as I have pulled all the tupperware out of the cupboard and had an afternoon nap!

My mummy is going to point her camera at a lovely family tomorrow! I am worried as she calls it a shoot....... I hope she is not going to shoot me for that apple I left under the pillow that went bad and has stained the carpet!!! If anyone deserves to be shot it is daddy as he wants to buy a Harley...he keeps telling mummy it is a steal!!!! but she is not buying it!

I played with my barbie dolls until i was in year 8 (behind closed doors of course).

I hang my washing in sections depending on if it is going to be ironed, folded or it belongs downstairs.

I went to a fortune teller 2 years ago andshe freaked me out by telling me things NO one could ever guess! She was right in so many ways.

Anzac Day

This morning Daz drove Dad to the station to attend the march and I became really sad, I just wanted to go too! So i have made a promise that we will take Max every year to see his Pop march! Dad today we remember and I am thinking of your brother "uncle Norm" who was in WW2. I also want to say i love you and I am proud of you. Here is a photo of my sweet Dad - Max taken in the 60'sI have been busy scrapping and I seem to be on a little role! But it is coming to an end as I have a mountain of school work to do and since I am spending all weekend at KIWI SCRAPS I have to get going!

Today we had the wonderful Elleni, Michel and Lucas over! It was sooo good to catch up! I am so happy Max and Lucas are 4 months apart as I know they will be great at keeping each other company for many years to come. thanks sooo much for a fun day! we have to stop missing each other and do it MORE!!!

I also forgot to say in my last post MAX loves Barney.

We went to the Barney concert last Wednesday with Tracy, Charlotte, Christine and David and we had a great time. Max danced up a storm!!!! sadly the shops do not seem to be selling Barney stuff anymore as i would love to get him a Barney toy!

Max has a new word!!! YAY! it is Hello!!!

WOW it has been a very busy holidays! Seems like I have had soo much to do but got nothing done! I had a great stamping up party with 19 of my scrapping friends. Then after getting to bed at 1am after some scrapping with Alison and Jen it was up at 6am for a trip to the hairdresser and then to Terrigal for Clare and Scott's wedding! It was a really nice day with lots of great catch ups!!! Especially with Jules and Marcus - these two crack me up. We are so lucky to have great friends like these two. Marcus you are a sexy BOY!!!!! thanks for a memorable weekend guys - we need MORE like this!

Scrapping wise I have managed a CUTE altered album for Addicted to craft . It is Maya rd and I cant share - but look out for their stuff it is HOT!!!!

TV wise - yes !!!if you did not know I am a TV NUT!!!!!!! I am sad biggest looser is coming to an end! I sooo hope Munnalita or Marty get the win!!!! I am loving the Amazing Race and LOST is doing my head in as usual! Prison Break is making my heart skip a beat everytime Michael/Wentworth moves!!!! and as it is holidays and I am up to 2am each night I am SOOOO hating quiz mania - but why do i still listen and scream at the silly twit presenter!!!

Our friends Peta and Todd had a baby boy - Jack Fisher - well done !!

I caught up with Rebekka and her photos made me want to go to New york tomorrow!!!!

I swam in our pool. it was sooo warm as I pumped the solar up and did about 30 laps!!! it was so relaxing.

but most importantly WE WENT SWIMMING!!!

Mark came over and finished the electrical and we had a little birthday celebration. THEN we decided we needed to jump in JUST BECAUSE!!!!! because it has been a long time coming!!!

I was just going to watch the guys, but Karen said I HAD to get in too!! I could not be bothered getting changed and i think my clothes kept me one degree warmer!

Rebecca was soooo funny - she just got in - no foot test, no screaming - just started to swim! She is a true summer baby!!!!

So ironic!!!

Our pool is FINISHED!!!! (except the pavers and the plants) nad we get COLD weather!!!! Yes I can here you all tell me "well it is APRIL!!!" I promise you all there will be a photo of me in this POOL this week as soon as the solar kicks in and I find my wetsuit!!!!!

Max and I had a great time on Wednesday afternoon filling it! We walked around the shallow end and he had the best time playing with the hose. I remember doing this when my parents put a pool in - I was sad when darkness ruined our fun!!! the next time he will walk in the shallow end he will be at least 6!!!.

FIRST KISS!!! with a taller and older woman!!!!!!

On Good Friday our Mums group had a get-together! We had such a yummy seafood lunch.

The children played happily! I really hope they are friends forever and attend each others weddings - hey we could even pair some of them up !!! we all get a along so there will be no inlaw problems!!!!!! SUCH CUTIES!!!!!!!
